  • "You'll know best for your baby" my lo is only 3mo and I've learned that i do know what's best for her and myself.
  • "Sleep when the baby sleeps, housework can wait"

  • Doctors are for medical advice, not patenting advice.
  • "The key thing is when things are this bleak is to focus on the moments of uncomplicated joy". It's from John Oliver, but i really took it to heart when i read it and try to remind myself when parenting gets tough.
  • When i stress about the bigger issues, i always try to find the uncomplicated joy in the little things, like watching my daughter try to form words, the way she smells after a bath, or how sweet she is when she asks to be picked up.
  • Children want time, and you never get it back. Something my dad tells me all the time.
  • Happy mom, happy child... I try to remind myself often but it's hard to do.
  • Be humble, and never say never.
  • Aside from the goodies above, pray for wisdom!

  • "This too shall pass!"
  • Follow his (my son's) lead.
  • Babies can't manipulate.

  • Always, always have a potty seat in the car.
  • It goes so fast... Not really advice but it's the one thing that's always stuck with me.
  • The days are long, but the years are short.
  • They really aren't out to get you...REALLY! I'm not sure of a serious one that I'd say is the best advice. I guess remember that your baby is an individual so you can't really compare.
