Meet Mike Foley, DDS of Winning Smiles Dental care

Dr. Michael J. Foley provides frenectomy procedures for tongue-tied infants and children as a pediatric dentist. Dr Foley has lived in the Buffalo area most of his life. He graduated from Canisius College in 1993, earning a degree in Biology. He then continued his education at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. Dr. Foley then completed 2 years of advanced training in pediatric dentistry at Childrens National Medical Center of Washington, D.C. Following training and 2 years of mentoring and private practice in Michigan, he returned to Buffalo in 2002 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry ever since. Staying at the forefront of his specialty is a high priority for Dr. Foley.

He attends numerous continuing education courses, which enable him to offer his patients the latest advancements in preventative, restorative, and orthodontic care. He utilizes technological advances as a way of providing the highest quality of care for all patients in a comfortable setting. His leadership and commitment to advanced dentistry is evident in Dr. Foleys active involvement in both national and professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and The National Society of Dentistry for Children. In addition, he has received advanced and ongoing specialty training in orthodontics with a special emphasis on the growing and developing child. Dr. Foley became Board Certified in 2008. Locally, Dr. Foley holds memberships in the Western New York Society of Pediatric Dentists, 8th District Dental Society, and Erie County Dental Society. He maintains practicing rights at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. In addition, he works with numerous consultants to provide his patients with the best customer service and treatment available. Dr. Foley has three sons, Colin, Samuel, and Drew. He enjoys being a dad, fly-fishing, running, and golfing.
